Edinburgh Chris Hoy Half Marathon

One of our data team members, Goi (left) completed Edinburgh's Chris Hoy half marathon on Sunday 18th April. The girls were sponsored by New Balance and they ran in aid of the Make a Wish Foundation. They also featured on the front page of the Edinburgh Evening News.

Moon Walk 2010

Our very own Director of Business Development Susan Thomson took part in the Edinburgh Moon Walk 2010. Raising awareness and money for Breast Cancer Research and care, Susan along with 12,000 other women and men took to the streets in decorated bra's on the 19th July to power walk the marathon route around Edinburgh (26.2 miles). Susan raised a massive £600 for Breast Cancer Research.

The funds from this event (estimated at £8.7 million) is earmarked to build a new hospital theatre.

Charity Pram Race

Well done to our Operations Executive Ewan Struthers who successfully completed the charity pram race and pub crawl around Balerno in Edinburgh. Ewan, along with his mate Craig pushing the pram supported a Downsyndrome Kids Charity and raised a great £112.50 and came third out of 17 pairs in the race! Well done Ewan and Craig.

PS. Ewan is the Robot. And it was a home made costume. Not that you could tell!!

Skydive!

Our Director of New Business Elliott Smith & our Operations Manager Neil Struthers have decided to jump out of an aeroplane for charity. The pair will take part in a tandem skydive in the next few months and more details will be posted here as soon as we get them!
